Meknez is one of the 5 imperial cities in Morocco. Culturally and historically, it’s a very rich city. Created in the 8th century, the past is still very present. It’s a magical city, with small streets, smaller side streets, and plenty of souks.

We were travelling through Morocco, and visited Marrakech, Ourzazate and Fez – but it’s in Meknez that we took a rest. And this is what Meknez means to us : relaxing.
