Lamu is a small island on the Kenyan coast, just south of Somalia. The city
of Lamu, which contains extensive examples of Swahili architecture,
has been created in the 14th century.
The population is very mixed. A very
specific culture exists, due to its rich and eclectic history, which
is expressed not only in the architecture but also in the furniture.
The bed in the room is a nice example.
Relaxing, this is what “Lamu” means
for us. |
